SEPTEMBER 8, 2008 – NEW YORK – Helicor, Inc. announced today that it has reduced the price of the StressEraser personal biofeedback device from $299 to $179, effective immediately. The new price will appear on the StressEraser storefront at stresseraser.com, and in catalogs and promotional materials from StressEraser’s distributors, which include Amazon.com, Brookstone, Drugstore.com, GNC and Hammacher Schlemmer.
Steady demand for the StressEraser since its launch almost three years ago, coupled with a move to overseas manufacturing, has enabled Helicor to begin producing devices in greater volume at a lower cost per unit. Since the launch, the company has shipped more than 55,000 devices.
“We are extremely pleased with the StressEraser’s progress to date and thrilled that we are now in a position to pass our cost savings along to our customers,” said Adam Forbes, CEO of Helicor Inc. “Our intent is that our new price point will make our innovative drug-free medical technology affordable for a wide audience.”
